Joe Clark Elected to the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors
Joe Clark, a shareholder in the Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd Columbia office, has been elected to the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for 2017 – 2018.
Mr. Clark serves on the Firm’s three-member Management Committee. He is a business lawyer, who helps companies with organizational and internal governance; drafting and reviewing contracts; assisting with the purchase and sale of business assets and goods and services; and helping clients raise capital in compliance with securities laws through private placements and exempt offerings.
In addition, he helps families and individuals with wills, trusts and estates.
“It is an honor to serve on the Board for the South Carolina Chamber and I look forward to fulfilling the Chamber’s mission to make South Carolina the best place in the nation to live, work and do business,” stated Mr. Clark.
Mr. Clark currently serves on the Board of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, is an adjunct professor at the University of South Carolina School of Law and was recognized as Best Lawyers 2018 Securities/Capital Markets Law “Lawyer of the Year” in Columbia.
