Community Service
Though a S.C.-based firm, our compassion for others extends beyond geographical borders. We are committed to the community-at-large as well as local projects. We step out of our comfort zone to help others - whether it is the disaster relief efforts of Hurricane Katrina, or lending a hand to the American Red Cross.
Our participation is visible at Habitats for Humanity, CASA, the United Way, the American Heart Association, the March of Dimes, Children’s Hospitals and centers, Free Medical Clinics, Meals on Wheels, county libraries, schools, in the arts, and other important endeavors.
In the Firm’s annual Thanksgiving card, nonprofit organizations are announced that receive our financial support. The 2007 contribution was awarded to the South Carolina State Firemen’s Association Endowment in memory of the Charleston Nine, the dedicated firefighters who tragically lost their lives that year.
One of society’s most troubling social concerns is the homeless. We recognize the enormity of the task, but by working together, the solution becomes more achievable. Thus, our 2008 Thanksgiving contribution was designated for four S.C. charities that provide food, clothing and lodging for those in need.
