Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd Elects New Shareholders
Two litigators and one business attorney elected.

Sprinkle III, and Tigerron A. (Tiger) Wells have been elected Shareholders, effective January 1. Livingston and Wells are based in the firm’s Columbia office, with Sprinkle practicing out of the Greenville office.

Lindsey Carlberg Livingston focuses on bankruptcy matters and creditors’ rights litigation since joining the firm’s Columbia office in August 2004. She represents lenders in commercial and consumer bankruptcies and related litigation in federal, state and bankruptcy courts.
She is admitted to practice in South Carolina and the U.S. District Court, South Carolina, and is a member of the Richland County Bar Association and the South Carolina Bar. Ms. Livingston is chair-elect of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation, Carolinas Chapter, and is also active in the American Bankruptcy Institute and South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association.
A native of Aiken, SC, Ms. Livingston is participating in the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Columbia, Class of 2012, and is an active member of the Junior League of Columbia, Inc. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2004, and received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Wofford College (2001).
Based in the firm’s Columbia office, Tigerron A. (Tiger) Wells practices public finance law, helping clients, including counties, municipalities, and school districts, issue bonds as a means to finance various capital projects. Prior to joining the firm’s public finance team, Mr. Wells represented companies in various litigation and litigation-related matters.
Admitted to practice in South Carolina, Mr. Wells is a member of the American Bar Association, South Carolina Bar, South Carolina Black Lawyers Association, Columbia Lawyers Association, and Columbia Young Professionals. He currently serves as a board member of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, March of Dimes (Midlands), Columbia Development Corporation, Eau Claire Cooperative Health Centers, and Midlands Education and Business Alliance (MEBA).
Mr. Wells, a Columbia native, participates as a Fellow in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, (LCLD) a national initiative aimed specifically at improving diversity and inclusion in the legal field. He received the University of South Carolina Black Law Students Association's 2011 Jonathan Jasper Wright Award. Mr. Wells chaired the SC Bar Young Lawyers Division Diversity Clerkship Program, which won first place for "Achievement for Diversity Programs" at the American Bar Association's 2011 annual meeting.
A graduate of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Columbia, Class of 2011, Mr. Wells was recognized by The State newspaper as one of the region’s emerging young leaders and included in its annual “20 Under 40” class in 2010. A one-time Columbia Urban League Young and Gifted honoree, he served on the steering committee for the organization’s Columbia Young Professionals group and was honored by the Columbia Urban League with an “Empowered Citizen” award in 2008.
He earned his J.D., from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2004, and his B.S., cum laude, from Morehouse College (2000).

Charles M. Sprinkle III, a litigator in the firm’s Greenville office, defends financial services firms in class actions and other complex litigation. He has represented clients in state and federal courts throughout the Carolinas, as well as in the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition to financial services matters, Mr. Sprinkle has represented healthcare, transportation, manufacturing and construction industry clients in a variety of complex litigation matters.
He is admitted to practice in North Carolina, South Carolina, U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, and U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina. A native of Myrtle Beach, SC, Mr. Sprinkle is a member of the American Bar, North Carolina Bar, Greenville County Bar Association. and the South Carolina Bar.
Mr. Sprinkle devotes his volunteer efforts to community and legal organizations such as the United Way of Greenville County and recently served as a member of the South Carolina Supreme Court Advisory Committee on recent amendments to the South Carolina Rules of Civil Procedure.
Prior to joining Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd in September 2005, Mr. Sprinkle served as law clerk to The Honorable John W. Kittredge, of the South Carolina Court of Appeals (now Justice of the South Carolina Supreme Court), and as law clerk to The Honorable Ben. F. Tennille, Chief Special Superior Court Judge for Complex Business Cases at the North Carolina Business Court.
Mr. Sprinkle received his J.D., from Wake Forest University in 2001, where he served as executive editor of the Wake Forest Law Review. He earned his B.A., with honors, from the College of Charleston (2003).
