Jean Pinckney directs the financial and accounting functions of Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd.
She manages a staff of 14 located throughout our six offices. Her department provides billing, collections, payables and payroll services for the more than 300 employees. She is also responsible for financial reports for internal and external audiences.
Ms. Pinckney oversees daily financial operations and works closely with the Management Committee in budgeting, cash management and financial-statement analysis.
BEFORE HAYNSWORTH SINKLER BOYD
Ms. Pinckney joined Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd after 15 years in the Office of the South Carolina Comptroller General, where she served as senior assistant comptroller general and director of statewide financial reporting. Before that, Ms. Pinckney worked at the State Auditor’s Office as an audit manager and at Wilbur Smith and Associates as an international cost accountant.
Ms. Pinckney also lived in the Charleston area, where she was an accountant for The Evening Post Publishing Company and its subsidiaries.
