Several attorneys worked for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, one is a Professional Geologist (P.G.), and is a Professor teaching environmental regulations at the graduate level.

- Assisted local governments in complex solid waste contracting and permitting matters;
- Successfully defended a client’s solid waste permit in appeal filed by competitors;
- Successful settlement of CERCLA cost recovery action brought on behalf of client;
- Assisted large client in obtaining permits in virtually every environmental media to allow construction and operation of a major manufacturing facility;
- Assisted mining company with permitting requirements allowing precious metals mine to reopen.
