Utilities Regulation

Our Utilities Regulation practice represents regulated utilities in the areas of water and wastewater, telecommunications, electricity and natural gas on a wide range of administrative, regulatory, corporate, and legislative matters.  We have successfully represented clients in electric rate cases before the South Carolina Public Service commission, telecommunication matters, rulemaking proceedings, and various legislative and governmental affairs. 

  • We were directly involved in the drafting and passage of the SC Base Load Review Act. The Act provides for cost recovery of certain pre-approved costs for electric base load generation serving SC consumers.
