Kimberly Witherspoon Selected as a Liberty Fellow

Kimberly joins 20 other leaders from across the state who make a lifelong commitment to use their creativity, network and energy to move South Carolina forward. Liberty Fellowship exposes accomplished leaders to diverse perspectives, critical thinking and intellectual and personal development. Upon completion of the program, Kimberly will join a network of over 300 Fellows who share a passion for progress in South Carolina. 

Kimberly focuses her practice on public finance and serves as bond counsel for colleges and universities, foundations, healthcare institutions and non-profit organizations. In addition, she works with healthcare and educational institutions in mergers, acquisitions, expansions and affiliations.

An active member of the Upstate community, Kimberly currently serves on the Board of Directors for United Way of Greenville County and previously served on the Boards for Pendleton Place and Junior League of Greenville. She is also a graduate of Leadership Greenville and the Riley Institute at Furman’s Diversity Leaders Initiative.
