Meet Alex

Alex Mende is an associate in Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd’s Columbia office and works with our civil litigation team representing clients in insurance and products liability matters.

Before joining our firm, Alex served as a Judicial Clerk to the Hon. J. Mark Hayes, II, South Carolina Circuit Court, Seventh Judicial Circuit.

In law school, he was President of the Student Bar Association and a student member of the John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court and 2020 Dean Search Committee.

In the summer of 2017, Alex successfully summited Mount Kilimanjaro.
