Meet Carson

Carson Phillips is a litigator in Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd’s Greenville office, where he focuses on toxic tort litigation and is a member of the firm’s asbestos team.

Before joining the firm, Carson practiced at a national law firm in Birmingham, Alabama. He has represented corporations, small businesses, individuals, and governmental entities in complex commercial, product liability, and mass tort litigation in state and federal courts throughout the country. In defending these cases, Carson’s involvement included offensive and defensive document discovery, drafting key motions and briefs, taking and defending fact and expert depositions, and coordinating bellwether plaintiff discovery.

In addition to representing clients in mass and dispersed litigation, Carson has litigated individual cases involving clients across a variety of industries, including healthcare, financial services, government enforcement, manufacturing, and consumer products.
