Boone Aiken is an associate in Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd’s Charleston office and maintains a multifaceted practice, providing advice and counsel on transactional matters and litigating disputes.
Boone assists business owners with a variety of corporate matters, including entity formation and structure, mergers and acquisitions and commercial contracts. In addition, he represents buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants in commercial real estate transactions with purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, deeds and financing documents.
He works with municipalities and counties on a variety of matters related to real estate, contracts, ordinances, regulations and council governance.
Boone’s experience also includes advising individuals and families on trust and estate planning, including the drafting of wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney and living wills.
Boone represents both companies and individuals in disputes over contracts, financial transactions and corporate governance.
While in law school, Boone served as a Notes Editor for the North Carolina Journal of Law & Technology and was a competing member of the Holderness Moot Court Corporate Team.
