John McArthur Elected Chairman of City Center Partnership Board
Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd attorney John B. McArthur was elected Chairman of the City Center Partnership Board, and will serve a two year term beginning January 1, 2014.
John, an attorney in the firm’s Columbia office, has previously served as the Vice Chairman of the City Center Partnership Board. He also currently serves as chairman of The River Alliance. He has also served as a member of the executive committee of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, board member of the South Carolina Business and Industry Political Education Committee (SC BIPEC), and board member of the Columbia Development Corporation.
About the City Center Partnership
The City Center Partnership was formed to manage Columbia’s downtown Business Improvement District. The CCP’s mission is to focus on filling vacancies in commercial properties, retaining existing downtown businesses and recruiting new ones, expanding the downtown residential base, and creating a safe, clean and friendly downtown environment.
