Ron Scott Becomes Riley Fellow in Spring 2022 Midlands Diversity Leaders Initiative

Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A. is pleased to announce that Ron Scott has become a Riley Fellow after completing the Riley Institute’s award-winning Diversity Leaders Initiative (DLI) Spring 2022 Midlands program.

The highly interactive five-month DLI program brought 35 participants together through discussions and scenarios to break down barriers and give them the tools to help drive diverse, equitable and inclusive strategies within their organizations.

Ron’s practice focuses on public finance, planning and zoning, local government and economic development matters. He also serves as bond counsel to housing developers for low-income housing projects assisted through state and federal Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and as issuer’s counsel to local public housing authorities for private activity housing revenue bonds.

Active in the community, Ron serves on the boards for the South Carolina Supreme Court Historical Society, Prisma Health – Midlands, Prisma Health Richland Memorial Hospital and the Midlands Education and Business Alliance (MEBA).
