Meet Kathleen

Kathleen Muthig’s practice focuses on commercial real estate, including development, financing, commercial leases and related real estate transactions. Kathleen enjoys providing clients with practical and effective solutions to legal obstacles. She is a licensed title insurance agent and writes title insurance for a number of national title insurance companies. 
 
Kathleen also has experience representing creditors in state court and bankruptcy court litigation, including lenders, financial institutions, banks, credit unions and landlords. As an auxiliary practice area, Kathleen represents businesses seeking to obtain alcohol beverage licensing permits or licenses from the South Carolina Department of Revenue and in contested cases before the Administrative Law Court.

Having worked as in-house counsel to a corporation, Kathleen understands the importance of efficient and prompt communication with outside counsel. She prides herself on building lasting client relationships with those principles in mind.
