Meet Mary

Mary Caskey is a Certified Bankruptcy and Debtor-Creditor Law Specialist and leads Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd’s Bankruptcy and Recovery practice group. She is an experienced litigator who concentrates her practice in disputes involving financial service providers and creditors’ rights for consumer and commercial debts. Mary represents national and regional banks, loan servicers and other financial service providers in a variety of issues including foreclosures, collections, adversary proceedings, workouts and loss mitigation, judgment collection and alleged violations of state and federal consumer law. Mary has experience with state court receiverships throughout South Carolina.

Mary represents landlords and tenants in commercial lease disputes and defends landlords in residential lease disputes.

Mary also represents motor vehicle dealers and other industries regulated by the Department of Consumer Affairs and defends businesses in class actions.

Mary serves on Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd's Management Committee.
