Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd’s Tyra McBride Elected to Girls on the Run Columbia Board of Directors

Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd is pleased to announce that Tyra McBride has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors for Girls on the Run (GOTR) Columbia. GOTR is a nonprofit organization designed to enhance girls’ social, psychological and physical skills and behaviors to successfully navigate life experiences.

An associate in the firm’s Columbia office, Tyra focuses her practice on utility and commercial litigation and commercial real estate. She represents regulated utilities and their contractors in tort liability, property damage, and encroachment cases. Tyra also assists clients in commercial transactions involving the purchase, sale, and leasing of real property.

Tyra was recently selected for inclusion in The National Black Lawyers “Top 40 Under 40” in South Carolina. She is also a member of the SC Bar Young Lawyers Division and the SC Black Lawyers Association.
