Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd Adds Lauren Rounsville and Douglas Thomas to Real Estate Group

Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A. is pleased to announce that Lauren Rounsville and Douglas “Doug” Thomas have joined the firm’s Real Estate practice group as special counsel. Lauren is based in Greenville, while Doug is in the firm’s Columbia office.

Lauren represents developers, investors, lenders, small business owners and individuals with commercial real estate and corporate matters. She drafts and negotiates purchase and sale contracts, lease agreements, restrictive covenants, easements, development agreements, operating agreements and loan documents. Lauren also advises small business owners on corporate formation and asset purchases. She earned her law degree from Charleston School of Law.
Doug advises a broad range of clients, including developers, investors, buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, lenders and borrowers, with real estate and financing transactions. He guides clients through due diligence and advises on title matters, acquisition and sale documentation, financing agreements and leasing issues in connection with commercial real estate transactions. Doug holds a law degree from Wake Forest School of Law.
