Our international trade lawyers have extensive experience in drafting and negotiating international agreements of all types, from representing foreign companies seeking to locate in South Carolina to advising domestic corporations seeking to do business across the Pacific Rim and in Asia. The international trade group at Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd has also represented both foreign and domestic clients with issues involving U.S. Customs and Immigration.

- Negotiated and drafted international licensing agreements, technology agreements, asset lease, sales and purchases, interconnection agreements, international rights-of-way agreements, international construction authority agreements, capacity swaps and other arrangements

- Sponsored seminar on doing business in China attended by high ranking officials of the Chinese government
- Represented numerous foreign companies with litigation cases pending in South Carolina and federal courts
- Assisted more than 75 international business clients with their immigration needs through obtaining work visas, permanent resident status and international job training and education programs
- Assisted approximately 200 foreign business leaders with obtaining visas or green cards
- Assisted numerous foreign-owned and U.S. businesses with locating, expanding and operating in South Carolina
- Represented companies from across the globe, including the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Japan, Korea, China, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates
- Acquired Kiawah Island, SC, for a foreign investment corporation
