Meet Elizabeth

Elizabeth, a Columbia native, focuses her practice on commercial litigation matters, with experience trying these cases in courts and before arbitration panels. She represents plaintiffs and defendants involved in breach of contract disputes, corporate governance actions, antitrust and competition-based issues, government licensing and public procurement disputes, and business tort matters. 

EXPERIENCE

  • •  Represents financial institutions in claims made by depositors for account mismanagement, misappropriation and related tort and contract matters
  • •  Successfully defended publicly held companies in both actual and threatened merger injunction lawsuits
  • •  Represents local, national and international companies in civil antitrust and anti-competition lawsuits and government investigations
  • •  Defended an investment advisory firm in a case involving allegations of professional negligence, breach of fiduciary duty and securities fraud
  • •  Tried a case involving a corporate dissolution action alleging officer and director misconduct
  • •  Represented one of South Carolina's largest companies in various contract disputes with suppliers
