Working closely with our firm’s Governmental Relations, Environmental, Healthcare and other practice areas, our Administrative and Regulatory Law practice team assists our clients in finding solutions in local, state and federal administrative processes.

Our attorneys offer the experience and know-how to provide cradle-to-grave guidance through a wide range of federal and state regulatory processes, including healthcare facility Certificate of Need, licensing, permitting and certification through the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control, state and local tax issues before the S.C. Department of Revenue and individual and corporate professional licensing through the S.C. Department of Labor, Licensing & Regulation.

Our attorneys have significant experience in representing clients in contested matters arising out of administrative processes, including cases seen before various agency tribunals, licensing boards and the S.C. Administrative Law Court. We have successfully represented various clients in matters such as Medicare and Medicaid audit disputes, professional licensing hearings and appeals, Certificate of Need litigation and environmental matters to include federal and state wetlands, air permits and wastewater discharge permits.
